The Choisy-le-Roi faience factory of
Choisy-le-Roi, France
produced majolica from 1860 until 1910. The firm's wares are not
always marked. The common mark is usually a black ink stamped
"Choisy-le-Roi" pictured to the right with the large
"B". The "HB"
stands for Hippolyte Boulenger a director at the pottery. The
factory's work was some of the most delicate produced in France. |
